Best Hyperliquid Frontend: category guide

A frontend is the interface you use to send orders and manage a trading account. Two interfaces can use the same underlying exchange while charging different fees or requesting different permissions.
Start with product fit
Legend is our featured frontend for traders who want social features and copy trading. The native Hyperliquid app is the reference for direct protocol use. Check permissions and added fees for the workflow you need.
| Option | Useful for | Check first |
|---|---|---|
| Legend | Social features, mobile access, and copy trading | Exchange fees plus applicable Legend platform fees |
| Native Hyperliquid app | Direct use of Hyperliquid’s own interface | Supported markets, protocol fees, and account rules |
Understand what a frontend changes
The interface controls the screens and workflows you use. The underlying venue supplies contract and execution rules. A frontend can add features, fees, account services, and its own failure modes. Check which party operates each part. A shared order book does not make the overall products identical.
Inspect added builder fees
Hyperliquid builder codes can add a fee to fills. Compare that amount separately from the exchange’s maker or taker fee. Include entry and exit. The calculator shows the effect of a fee you enter; it does not fetch a live quote. Use the fee shown for your account before submitting an order.
Review trading permissions
Read the action you approve and the party receiving permission. Check how to revoke an API wallet or a builder-fee approval. These permissions are separate. A useful comparison records the account owner, signing method, maximum approved fee, withdrawal process, and recovery route.
Test the full workflow
Check chart and order controls, account balances, position management, deposits, withdrawals, and error messages. Try the same task on mobile and desktop if you need both. An interface that is easy to open but hard to exit or recover is not a good match for your workflow.
